Large Flower Dot Scarf

The Large Flower Dot Scarf is made in a soft blend of cashmere and modal. We were inspired by the specific fabric-type called "dotted mol" which has been used a lot at the start of the 20th century for creating curtains. We painted a flower in watercolour to add a bit of colour to the print. The print also comes in a square silk version and a long square cashmere/modal blend.

THE STORY OF

TAPIS NOIR

Founded in Denmark in 2020 by Mads Lehn Kruse, Tapis Noir brings together Lehn Kruse’s understanding and experience as an art director with his personal interest in interiors and antique textiles. A collector of rare fabric documents, he rearticulates their faded splendour for today, digitally translating woven textures, rich tapestries and old wall panel techniques into beautiful silk alongside his own warp prints.
